Purpose-bred animals are animals that are born in captivity for a variety of reasons. Rats and mice are purpose-bred in laboratories for medical testing and various experiments. Pigs, cows, and chickens are purpose-bred on farms for food. And minks, chinchillas, and foxes are purpose-bred on fur farms for fur. Before you start screaming about animal cruelty involving fur farms, take a gander at this. Fur farms that are subject to regulation are required to treat their animals humanely. And just because these are "fur" farms, doesn't mean that they don't use the rest of the animal. I don't care if you disagree with the idea of wearing fur, but you can't deny that only the healthiest animals produce the finest furs. Farmers who don't care for their animals don't remain in business for very long. It's common sense.

On the other hand, we have the child porn "industry," if you can even call it that. Children exploited for the sexual gratification of those who prey on the most vulnerable in our society. These children are victims of the worst kind of human exploitation fathomable. The United States Department of Justice estimates that pornographers have recorded the abuse of more than one million children in the United States alone. These children are subject to physical abuse, rape, and trafficking. According to Flint Waters, an investigator with the federal Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, "These guys are raping infants and toddlers. You can hear the child crying, pleading for help in the video. It is horrendous." Child sex tourism is another atrocity occurring mostly in developing countries in which people will travel to an entirely different country just to have sex with children. These children suffer horrendous, physically and mentally scarring encounters. That you would compare them to animals that live a healthy life on fur farms is beyond sick.
